Car wash

A car wash is a great way of getting adults and children together to raise money for a good cause. Advertise the wash in advance so that friends and family bring their cars along for you to do all the 'fun' work. Try to find a spot with lots of passers–by and make a huge sign advertising the car wash – you might be amazed how many people come along. School fields and privately owned car parks can be great for car washes; make sure you get permission first though.

Why not team your wash with a coffee morning or afternoon tea? This way, people can watch you do all the hard work whilst they relax with a cuppa and some cake, all whilst raising money to improve patients' lives.
