Book Sales in aid of NUH Charity

Mr Roy Luckraft of Clifton is pleased to announce the publication of his book ‘Travellers: Travelling Folk in the Lavender Fields’. All profits from the sales of the book will be donated to NUH Charity for the benefit of Nottingham’s patients.

Circus Starr, the all-human “circus with a purpose”, is back in Nottingham this September, Sunday 27th. Last year’s circus was great fun for all the family, and this year promises lots more laughs.

In November 2008, Margie Hargan’s 2 year old son, Cormac, was treated at the Queen’s Medical Centre, having become extremely ill with meningococcal septicaemia meningitis. The affects of the disease can be devastating, but thanks to the treatment he received, 8 months later Cormac is fit, healthy, and full of beans!
