Andrew Ketteringham and Raymond Edwards have raised £237.00 for the Children’s Hospital at QMC by competing in a Sprint Triathlon at West Park Leisure Centre.
This was the first triathlon in which either of the men had taken part, and the big day was preceded by months of training.
The morning began with a 16 length swim, followed by a 10 mile bike ride and then a 5km run. The training paid off as both Andrew and Raymond made it round the course in one piece and crossed the finish line with very respectable times.
Our thanks go to Andrew and Raymond and all those who helped them to raise the great total of £237.00 for the Children’s Hospital.
